The Argentines will be seeded 36th in the FIVB World Championships. Gallay, a 2012 Olympian with Maria Virgina Zonta, is 29,  5-8 and lives in Entre Rios while Klug, 30, is 5-9 and lives in Mar del Plata. They paired up as a team on the FIVB World Tour. Entering the 2015 season, the Gallay/Klug duo had competed in 21 FIVB World Tour events with five fifth place finishes and six ninths. On the 2014 Continental Tour, the pair won three gold medals and three silver medals. While Klug has only played with Gallay on the FIVB World Tour, Gallay played in five events with Zonta and one with Muriela Celestia. Gallay/Krug played in The Hague on the 2014 FIVB World Tour stop and finished 17th. This is the first time for both players in compete in the FIVB World Championships.
