Joining compatriots Clemens Doppler/Alexander Horst as host country entrants into the 2017 FIVB World Championships, nether Dressler or Kunert have competed in the world finals. Dressler and Kunnert’s best FIVB World Tour finishes are fifths at a 2014 stop in Puerto Vallarta (Mexico) and 2017 in Xiamen (China). Kunert played in his first World Tour event in 2011 with Dressler’s first FIVB stop being the next year.
