Siofok, Hungary, August 25, 2018 – Top seeded French duo Romain Di Giantommaso and Jeremy Silvestre progressed to the semifinals of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Siofok 1-star, where they will be playing Eric Stadie and Robin Sowa of Germany.
Di Giantommaso and Silvestre have won all their matches in straight sets so far, including the 2-0 (21-12, 21-18) win over Stadie in Sowa in pool play and the 2-0 (21-14, 21-15) victory over Finland’s Teppo Pulkkinen and Pekka Pilippo in the quarterfinals.

Serbia’s Djordje Klasnic and Marko Plavsic edged second seeds Mateusz Paszkowski and Mateusz Lysikowski of Poland 2-0 (21-13, 21-13) in the quarterfinals and will play Lithuania’s Patrikas Stankevicius and Matas Navickas for a spot in the gold medal match.
