Siofok, Hungary, August 23, 2018 – Slovenian duo Nina and Tajda Lovsin showed dominance in the second round of qualification to continue their journey in the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Siofok 1-star at the Plasz Siofok Nagystrand on Thursday.
After an intense clash that concluded with a 2-0 (21-13, 25-23) scoreline against compatriots Klara Kegar and Katarina Fabjan, Nina and Tajda recorded a 2-0 (21-14, 21-10) win against Hungary’s Liza Lutter and Kitti Szombathelyi.

Slovakia’s Jana Simancova/Magdalena Kovacikova posted an easy 2-0 (21-14, 21-11) victory over Sweden’s Anniken Radstrom and Isabelle Pahlsson in the second round, following their 2-0 (21-17, 21-18) triumph against Bulgaria’s Asya Dinova and Irena Mishonova.
Czech Republic’s Eva Klimesova and Diana Kolnercikova and Denmark’s Cecilie Kollner Olsen and Sofia Norager Bisgaard delivered double straight-set wins to advance to the main draw.
