Men’s final four coming up at Espinho – all live on YouTube

 
Espinho, Portugal, July 8, 2018 – The last competition day at the Espinho four-star stop on the 2018 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour is about to get underway. Sunday’s programme features the two men’s semifinals, followed by the bronze medal match, the big final and the awarding ceremony. All four games will be streamed live on the FIVB YouTube channel.


The day will start at 11:00 local time with an all-Brazilian duel for a spot in the gold medal match. Second-seeded Vitor Goncalves Felipe and Evandro Goncalves Oliveira Junior will go face to face against compatriots Ricardo Alex Costa Santos and Gustavo Albrecht Carvalhaes, who started their Espinho campaign from the country quota matches on Wednesday.


At noon, German qualifiers Julius Thole and Clemens Wickler will try to reach their first World Tour final ever as they lock horns with fourth-seeded Latvians Janis Smedins and Aleksandrs Samoilovs.


Centre court action will resume at 16:00 with the battle for the bronze, with the two losing teams from the semifinals will take on each other for a much desired spot on the podium.


The Espinho four-star will culminate with the gold medal match, starting at 17:15. One Brazilian and one European teams will fight it out for the first place and the largest share of the prize money set aside for the men’s tournament.
