Bangkok, Thailand, March 30, 2018 - The Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA) presented the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour SMM Pak Bara Beach Satun event to members of the press on Friday. The 1-star World Tour event will take place from April 8 to 11. The country will also host the 19th edition of the SMM AVC Beach Tour Samila Open from April 14 to 17.

The tournament has been promoted by the FIVB from the Asian Tour to a World Tour 1-star event. More importantly, the Pak Bara Beach in Satun is suitable for holding beach volleyball competitions. It’s one of Thailand’s most beautiful competition sites and a perfect landmark for beach volleyball.”
Players from 23 countries have already confirmed their participation in the FIVB World Tour 1-star event in Satun, while 16 countries will test their mettle at the continental event in the province of Songkhla.
