The World Tour heads to Shepparton, Australia for the 1-Star event from February 1-4, then to Iran’s Kish Island for the 3-Star event from February 20-24. The 5-Star Fort Lauderdale Major will start on February 27 and will continue until March 4.

Vanuatu’s Miller Pata, Linline Matauatu, Loti Joe and Sherysyn Toko are ready to start their journey in 2018. Their first stop is at Shepparton, where they will face the tough Australian top seeds Taliqua Clancy and Mariafe Artacho Del Solar.

Mariafe recently talked about the event in Shepparton on radio.

Latvians Martin Plavins and Edgar Tocs are on a medal run after their gold finish at the World Tour 4-Star event in The Hague and then their bronze medal at the CEV Beach Volleyball Masters in Pelhrimov, Czech Republic.

Plavins/Tocs wasted no time in getting their training court ready as they prepare for Kish Island.

Alix Klineman’s eyes are on the prize at the Fort Lauderdale Major, following her brilliant run to win gold with partner April Ross in their first World Tour event together in The Hague, Netherlands.

Alvaro Filho and Saymon Barbosa beat compatriots Pedro Solberg and Guto in last year’s final at Fort Lauderdale. And of course Saymon is back in training with hopes of defending their title in the 5-Star event.
